Confidence in Every Stride.
Who We Are
Rooted in Tradition. Driven by Horsemanship. Riding Beyond the Arena.
We believe that true riding excellence starts with a foundation of strong horsemanship. Our program is designed for those who want to go further than the standard lesson, those who seek confidence in every stride, whether they are working in the ring or exploring the world outside of it.

Meet the Owner
Jen Choicej
Owner, TrainerMy passion for horses has shaped my life for as long as I can remember. I began building my foundation at Essex Agricultural High School, studying Agricultural Business and developing a strong understanding of animal care, management, and responsibility. After graduation, I spent eight years as a small animal veterinary technician, where I developed a keen attention to detail and a deep appreciation for thoughtful, individualized care.
The next eleven years I worked as barn manager for event rider and trainer Babette Lenna, gaining invaluable experience managing performance horses and a busy training program. During that time, I strengthened my skills in horse care, rider support, and maintaining the highest standards both in and out of the barn.
My greatest strength lies in my attention to detail and my belief that every horse deserves care tailored to their individual needs. No two horses are the same, and understanding those differences is key to helping them thrive.
My riding background is rooted in Dressage and now Foxhunting—two disciplines that complement each other by developing correct flatwork and confident, forward riding beyond the arena.
Rowan’s Creek Equestrian was created from a desire to build a program where horses always come first and riders feel truly supported in their growth—a place where thoughtful horsemanship, individualized care, and a strong barn community come together.
When I’m not teaching or caring for the horses, you can find me enjoying the simple rhythms of life, spending time with my family and dogs. At Rowan’s Creek, my goal is simple: happy horses, confident riders, and a barn that feels like home.
